Our Story

I’m Loulou and I love interior design.

In my corporate career I ran a national training course in shop security. It involved a lot of stress and travel. By 2018, I was ready for a new career when I met an interior designer at a work function. She rang me a few days later, asked me to lunch, and offered me a job restructuring her office.

I’d thoroughly enjoyed renovating an old farmhouse and my new work gave me further practical experience and a way to express my creativity.

I’ve always valued the moments I can curl up in my wingback chair with a coffee, to read, write or just nurture my soul. I want to share my love of creating that special space filled with timeless, elegant design with other like-minded people.

And so, the idea of DelishHouse was born.

In January 2020 DelishHouse was launched – a small, all Australian business, which continues to grow thanks to the assistance of a fabulous team.
